Core Cutting MachinesOverview
We offer wire parts in single, double, triple, and fourdrinier configurations to suit diverse production requirements. The system ensures efficient initial dewatering and stable sheet formation. Precision engineering improves wire life and operational reliability. Designed for smooth operation at both low and high machine speeds.
Wire parts in Fourdrinier paper machines form the wet web by draining pulp slurry on a moving mesh, with single, double, triple, or four configurations suiting kraft and tissue grades.
Scope of Delivery
- Single Fourdrinier - Includes Breast roll/Guide roll, table rolls, foil boxes/dewatering elements, vacuum suction boxes (3-5), couch roll (rubber-covered), wire tensioners/stretchers, and drive head.
- Double/Twin Wire - Adds a second wire layer, a combination roll, twin wire forming box (cantilevered), additional vacuum foils/suction couch, wire return rolls, felt/wire guides, and hydraulic pitman for gap control up to 800 m/min.
- Triple/Four Layer - Multi-layer headbox integration, independent wire sections (3-4 wires), layer splitter boards, zoned vacuum systems, separate couch rolls per layer, and auto-tensioning for ply-specific basis weights and combination roll for each layer.
- Other common components include wire drives, lubrication showers, edge trimmers, safety covers, instrumentation (wire speed/tension sensors), spares (wires/rolls/seals), and commissioning alignment.
Key Advantages
- Single Fourdrinier: Cost-effective and simple for entry-level kraft/tissue machines, with 65-85% initial water removal using chest/table rollers.
- Double/Twin Wire: Enhanced two-sided formation and dewatering (up to 25% via suction boxes), ideal for uniform tissue quality at higher speeds.
- Triple/Four Layers: Produces multi-ply kraft with distinct layers (e.g., bleached top over unbleached base), improving strength and printability.
Scalable for widths up to 5m, with vacuum couch rolls boosting web strength and runnability across configurations.
