Overview
We provide pond type size press systems for uniform surface sizing and improved paper strength. The integrated size kitchen ensures accurate preparation and controlled application of sizing chemicals.
Pond Type Size Press and Size Kitchen enhance kraft and tissue paper surfaces post-drying by applying starch for strength, printability, and water resistance. This combination improves surface properties and printability. The system is designed for consistent performance and ease of operation.
Scope of Delivery
- Pond Type Size Press - Includes applicator rolls (rubber-covered, 650-1000mm dia.), pond pan/level controls, doctor blades, pneumatic loading, felt guides, spreader rolls, and starch recirculation pumps.
- Size Kitchen - Covers jet cooker/mixer (stainless steel, 500-5000 L/h), storage tanks, pumps/valves, temperature/pressure controls, agitators, filters, and piping with automation panel.
Other common components include Starch sensors/viscometers, safety showers, spares (gaskets/seals/roll covers), and commissioning support for integration.
